It was a good day

You know what a good day is....when the Packers beat the Bears by 34, the Vikings lose, and the Lions lose too. That is a good day.

After further review, the Bears still suck!!!

That is all.

It is a great day when the Packers win. It is better that it evened us in the standings with them. That is what is so grand about the Viking Loss it puts them in the three way tie for first with us and Chicago. The Lion Loss is just sad. That franchise is such a punchline. I started going to this Sports Bar that is the closest to my house. It is pretty much a Viking Bar. I thought that because they played the Pack last week that was the reason that they were all there. They were back this week. They had half of the bar and the sound for their side of the bar. The Pack game was on the tv next to it. I had to watch without any sound. I just can not understand Viking Fans at all. One guy last week had a Packer's Suck Shirt on. He even said the best thing about his team winning was that the Packers had lost. That is so very pathetic. I am only happy about the Viking Loss this week because it puts Green Bay in a tie for first. It is extremely hard to keep things friendly with them. I have to physically force myself to take the high road and keep my mouth shut to remain in good sportsmanship. I have found that all teams have their hard to get along with fans, but so far Viking Fans have been the worst. It is a shame that I may have to go to yet another bar because everything else there is fine, the food, the staff, and such.

Gino, considering the way Lovie and da Bears have had Green Bay's number these past few years, we Packers fans should be able to celebrate a little. This was a cathartic win for the Pack.

Lovie owned Brett. Ever since that day in the Dome in Missouri when Brett threw six interceptions against the "Swarm" D that Smith came up with he has had Brett's Number, and I am not talking about the four on his jersey. I hate to say it, but if it were not for Rex and his stupidity about having to play on New Year's a few years ago after the Bears had little to play for with the exception of self respect, and that was not enough for Grossman I guess, the Pack may not have won. Now we get a chance to see how Lovie does against Rodgers. I liked what I saw so far on Sunday. I hate to keep on bringing up the verification words, but it is butpoki this time.

wasnt that part of the brett cult: that he was able to beat the bears on a regular basis (minus the lovie yrs)?

Beating the Bears is always key, Gino. I'm guessing you feel the same way about beating the Packers. Although the Packer-Viking rivalry is pretty hostile, the Packer-Bear rivalry is still more meaningful. I think the difference is that, for all the ill will throughout the 80+ year rivalry, there's a respect between the two rivals that's missing in the Packer-Viking rivalry.
