Here comes the flood
It has been a horrific set of days in southern Wisconsin, hasn't it? A stationary front dropped several inches of rain throughout Wisconsin, Iowa, and SE Minnesota, causing floods with horrific consequences. The draining of Lake Delton near Wisconsin Dells is absolutely stunning. Other flooding throughout Wisconsin has occurred as well. It looks like things are as bad in Wisconsin as they are in Iowa (where my sister and I saw whole fields flooded out). Hopefully the recovery process can begin quickly and go relatively smoothly.
