Hey Badgers fans...quick question

How many of you thought this man would be coaching a team in the NBA Finals 14 years after taking one of the most talented teams (on paper) in Wisconsin history to a 14-15 record? Notice how that entry kindly omits any mention of his college coaching days in Madison.....hmmm. How does a team with Tracy Webster, Michael Finley, and Rashard Griffith go 14-15?

I did. Are you trying to tell us that you expected less from a guy that looks like Ron Jeremy, and acts like Bill Parcells during his dealings with the media?

So Mike, you know I'm in Silly Mode tonight, so my response won't address your question at all. Sorry.

Remember my friend Joe from college? He was friends with a bunch of those guys.

LOL at Jason - I never thought about it before but Van Gundy does kind of look like Ron Jeremy. Nice call.

I wish that I could take credit for that one. I was able to translate Jim Rome's Pig Latin or whatever language that he speaks long enough one day to borrow that from him. I think Danny Devito looked like Mr. Jeremy in Big Fish.

I think it takes a different skill set to be a college coach and back in those days, the Big Ten was full of excellent coaches. I don't suppose that Bob Knight, Gene Keady, Clems Haskin or Dr. Tom Davis was too impressed with a guy who looked liked the assistant finance manager at Van Boxtel Ford.

I must say that I find the Van Gundy brothers very amusing. Not as amusing as the Marx Brothers, but more than the Smothers Brothers.

Mark - Nice Van Boxtel Ford reference!! The only way that could have improved would have been if you had worked a Horn Ford reference in...Horn Ford *beep beep* Mercury Marine.
