I think some people think I am lying about Becky. Well, in an effort to demonstrate the horrid truth, I am resorting to writing poetry. I don't write poetry. But, love expresses itself in mysterious ways, doesn't it?
A woman named Rebecca
Possessor of my heart and soul
Romance and passion tell me
I'll love her until I'm old
Love is such an oddity
For it has passed me throughout my life
O, will it never find me?
Or will it give me a wife?
Lord, you have blessed me with Becky
So I say to you with glee!
Here I am with open arms
A woman named Rebecca for me.

The fact that yesterday was April 1st is not helping your case!
Amanda, I am so totally full of crap on the whole Becky thing it's not even funny. Look at the first letter of each line of this poem. There's your answer.
Funny story though (this one is true), I was set up with someone once on April 1st. The person who set us up called me and told me about this woman, and I totally thought she was lying. But, for a short time, it actually worked out.
Too bad. She sounded cute.

I think this means a sophisticated dork, as in someone who writes lovely, wistful April Fool's day poetry.
You may be a dorke, but this was one of the better April Fool's gags I saw this year. Well played.

This is mostly for Amanda, in response to the various P.Ss:
1. I am not that mean.
2. I am on vacation as of this morning. So we'll see. Actually, some interesting posts could come out of this trip.
3. To be fair, the one thing that was true in that post is that I do try to keep an open mind on things. If the facts on the ground change, not being open to a change in opinion is just being stupid. So, in theory a liberal could influence my thinking. But, in theory communism works.
Bottom line, though...you love me, I am one of your favorites. You have probably searched high and low for me on Facebook, Twitter, and at the Uptown Lunds at a minimum. So calm down already!! :)
