This is how many consecutive times the Brewers have defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates (they won 8-5 tonight). This is difficult to do in any sport, but in baseball it's hard to string together more than a couple of wins consecutively against any team.
Way to go Brewers....see you on Friday!!

It's a nice break from all the stuff surrounding Benedict Favre.
It's cool to see the Brewers come back from their less-than-stellar first week to be where they are.
It's pretty amazing, really. 17 times in a row is just astonishing.
I guess that long of a streak hadn't happened since the Orioles beat the Royals 17 straight in 1969-1970...as you know, the Royals were pretty much an expansion team at that time.
