Nope

Do I really think Brett Favre is going to retire? See above for answer. Even if he announces it in the next couple of days, I still don't believe him. I will believe it if the 2010 season goes by and he does not show up.

Ha, same here. I won't mind is that turns out to be true, and he comes back to the Vikings. Last season was exciting with him on the team!

I gotta tell you, I would love for him to go away. Count me amongst the many Packers fans who will never totally forgive him for wearing purple.

I think he's making a play here...for the fawning attention of the masses at a minimum, and at most he wants that, plus another 5-10 million dollars in order to be the Vikings' "savior."

Frankly, he has the Vikings by the proverbial giblets. Without Favre, they are at best the second-best team in the NFC North, and a team that would have to fight for a wild-card berth. He knows this, so while I think he will come back, he needs to massage his massive ego via money and/or the abject begging of Vikings fans, players, coaches, staff, and ownership.

It's all about the Vi.

The Vicodin and Viagra cocktails ultimately led him to the ViQueens.

Why doesn't the media just ignore him? This is so predictable.
